The World Forum for Africa (WOFA) is a non-profit organisation that is single-mindedly committed to infrastructure development in Africa. It is focused on inspiring the build-out of transformational infrastructure projects across Africa thus spurring what is perhaps the largest economic transformation in human history.
WOFA is essentially about helping to bridge the infrastructural gap across this great continent. It is determined to lead the continent’s infrastructure revolution through a Made in Africa initiative.
Founded by Abi Ahmed Haruna, a lawyer and Africa’s infrastructure transformation enthusiast, WOFA seeks to bring together all stakeholders for deliberations, collaborations and project implementation.
WOFA seeks to make a difference by achieving creative and innovative financing solutions for Africa’s infrastructure transformation through collaboration with international development partners, private and public sectors with little or no loans.
To achieve its mandate, WOFA operates through two streams: The first is the WOFA Summit and the second is the WOFA Secretariat.

WOFA SUMMIT
WOFA Summit, on one hand, is a seminal platform for initiating conversations about infrastructure in Africa. It is, however, not just another talk shop, but a hub for taking affirmative actions that will lead to the rapid transformation of Africa’s infrastructure landscape.
WOFA Summit is the global private sector led platform to discuss, innovate and galvanise human, intellectual, financial & material resources to achieve Africa’s infrastructure transformation.
The annual three days summit seeks to bring together all stakeholders for deliberations, collaborations and project implementation that will precipitate massive socio-economic growth across the continent of Africa.
WOFA Summit will open new vistas for participation and present the African infrastructure industry with the most effective platform for collaboration, cooperation and integration.
WOFA SECRETARIAT
The WOFA Secretariat is essentially a think tank dedicated to the provision of infrastructure development solutions across the African continent. WOFA Secretariat is research-driven and will actively follow up on the conference initiatives and monitor the implementation of projects, agendas and commitments made at the WOFA Summit.
WOFA Secretariat will serve as the repository of infrastructure development in Africa and the institutional memory of the WOFA Summit. It will equally set up and manage WOFA Online Library, one of the world’s most extensive collections of online resources about infrastructure development in Africa.
